Vivo V5s smartphone to launch in India on April 27

The teaser highlights that the V5s will have a 20MP front-facing camera, just like its predecessor V5. However, other specifications are not known yet.
is all set to a launch a new smartphone in India. The company has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for April 27, where it will launch the V5s smartphone.
 
Vivo launched the V5 back in September last year. Priced at Rs 19,780, the USP of the smartphone is its 20MP front-facing camera, accompanied by Moonlight Glow and Facebeauty. The camera app itself comes with various 'beautification' features such as eye enlargement, face slimming and skin blemish reduction, which help in clicking 'better' selfies. There is also a one-tap beauty feature which automatically tweaks numerous facial features to enhance selfies. A 13MP rear camera is included too.


Vivo V5 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, skinned with the company's Funtouch OS skin layer. In terms of specifications, Vivo V5 features a 5.5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. It's powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There's also 32GB of internal storage, further expandable via microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.
The smartphone houses 3,000mAh battery and includes 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth as major connectivityoptions.
